Saxdena injection is used for adults with excess weight and also patients with weight-related medical problems or obesity. It helps them lose weight.
This medicine should be used with increased physical activity and a reduced-calorie diet.

Saxenda is a medication used in conjunction with a healthier diet and more exercise to help control weight in:

• People with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or above; adults with a BMI of 27 to 30 who are overweight and suffer from weight-related conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obstructive sleep apnea, or unusually high blood fat levels.
• Adolescents weighing more than 60 kg who are obese (BMI of 30 or above) starting at age 12.
• Liraglutide injection also slows the emptying of the stomach and may decrease appetite and cause weight loss.

How To Use

Saxdena is injected under the skin (subcutaneously) in the abdomen (stomach area), thigh, or upper arm as instructed by your doctor.
